(NC)-Your credit report is a history of your financial activity. It includes details about any loans or credit cards you may have, and your payment record. When you apply for a loan or a financial service, the bank will look at your credit history. When you apply for a job or want to sign a lease for an apartment, authorized people, like an employer or landlord, may also look at your credit report with your approval to verify your reliability. To avoid unnecessary problems, it is important that all of the information on your credit report be accurate and up to date. If there are errors in the report, it is important that you try to correct them. To find out how to do that, contact the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC).
